Alright, my blog has got to start somewhere and I figured my recent confusion over calories would be relatable enough to my female friends, that it might just be worth posting... As another calorie conscious female trying to find the ideal balance between eating right, so I can indulge on ice cream and alcohol - I most likely, okay always, check the nutrition label of what I eat.
My monster giant boyfriend brought home some delicious Nature's Valley Pecan Crunch granola bars - delicious to say the least. You know the one's, came in green packaging with the yellow label, packed in your Barbie lunchbox, 2 bars in one wrapper and when you bite into it crumbs go flying... well now they have gone gourmet in the flavor department. Anyway - to finally get the point I checked out the nutrition info and this is what I found: 1 bar contains 90 calories, 2 bars 190... and thus the 10 calorie mystery.
